Once you have accepted an offer, you will enter into a legally binding agreement with the buyer called Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which outlines all the details and terms of the sale. If you have a mortgage with a bank, you will need to apply for a Liability Letter stating the total outstanding amount to be paid. This can take up to two weeks. Then, the buyer will need to settle the mortgage in order to obtain a Clearance Certificate, the original Title Deed, and all other security documents.

Step 9: Apply for the No Objection Certificate

Step 10: Complete Your Sale

Visit the Sharjah Land Department to complete the transfer of property ownership to the new owner and receive your payment in the form of a manager’s cheque. A new Title Deed will then be issued to the new owner.
